Are you ever puzzled about the meaning of a Bible verse? Do you sometimes wonder if your really understand what God is saying to you through the scriptures? Well, Hermeneutics is the class for you. For ten weeks you will learn the basic principles that will help you interpret God’s Word. This class is designed for those who want a deeper understanding of the Bible, or desire to teach a Bible study.

A strategy for growing toward Christlikeness must be based on the actual ways that people grow and develop into maturity in Christ. We will use this book as a supplement to our Bibles to integrate the inward disciplines with our outward expressions of spiritual maturity. Through identifying and understanding how we grow spiritually, we become more intentional in our use of time and methods. Most importantly we discover how to develop intimacy with God. Growing – because maturity is a lifelong process; Toward – because our vision must be fixed on Christ; Spiritual – because inward transformation determines our growth; Maturity – because fulfillment of the Great Commission is our task.
Requirements: $23 cash or check made payable to Audrey Thompson due on first night of class. Bring your bible, all other material provided

The greatest taboo for the modern day women -SUBMISSION- evokes an unflattering picture of "doormats" and "servants". This small group intends to show how submission plays a central role in the establishment of God's divine order in our lives and enables us to receive a greater portion of His glory. Over the next ten weeks, we will examine how God works and what His original plan was for us and the family, how His divine order is established and disrupted, the importance of complete submission to God and our spiritual authorities, and how to uncover and combat the "Spirit of Jezebel" in our lives and ministries.
