Pastor Philip and Jocelyne Spellman
Pastor Philip was born and raised in Maryland. He has always been involved in his church and loved his youth group. After High school he attended Morgan State University and Frederick Community College. In 2004, Philip moved to Stockton CA to attend Christian Life College where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies in May of 2007. He was freshman class Vice President. Philip attended Lighthouse of the Valley church in Stockton, CA until 2008. While he was there he was a key leader in the Youth and Children's departments, serving as a mentor to youth and on the Children's Ministry Development committee. Philip came to CCC in February of 2008 to serve as Student Pastor. He currently works at Huntington Learning Center in Ashburn, VA where he is passionately assisting young people to expand their capacity for knowledge.
Pastor Philip met his wife Jocelyne in Stockton, CA and they were married in September of 2006. Jocelyne was born and raised in Manitoba, Canada. She graduated from Christian Life College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music with honors and was the recipient of the Olive Haney Award. Jocelyne has been instrumental in the Music Ministries of several churches as well as the Youth and Sunday School departments.
Together Phillip and Jocelyne are helping the youth of CCC grow and mature in Christ as well as supporting the many other ministries of CCC. They are passionate about young people and their potential to win their world for Christ.
