What to Expect
Walking into a new church for the first time is just scary, right? But it won’t be that way for you when you visit Capital Community Church. We are a diverse family of people who love Jesus and are passionate about family, friendships, and finding our calling. This is a community where the hurting find hope, the lonely find family, the broken are restored, and the fallen are loved and find forgiveness.
We have an amazing welcome crew waiting for you to arrive—just look for someone with a tablet in their hands. These friends will walk with you through everything from learning how to check your children into KidsINC—our action-packed kid’s ministry—located on the lower level and staffed by caring and qualified volunteers, to helping you find a seat in our worship center. Think of them as your own personal concierge…and ask them any questions you want, they’re prepared.
Don’t worry about what you look like, people come to service at Capital Community just as they are—blue jeans and t-shirts, suits and ties, maybe even wearing their beautiful Sunday hats.
When the music starts, you’ll hear contemporary praise and worship led by passionate worshippers and musicians. Our worship is vibrant and expressive—we are a church that loves to worship together as a family—you can get involved as you are comfortable.
Pastor Mitchell is an excellent communicator and he passionately delivers an easy-to-understand message manner full of truth to apply to each of our lives. It’s encouraging and bold, challenging and convicting. Guaranteed you won’t leave the service feeling the same way you arrived.
Welcome to the family—we are so glad you are with us.
